  • Database Type: Type of database (SqlServer, Oracle, MySql or Dremio)

  • Source Connection: The Connection Source added in the Vault under “Relational Databases” (relate back to “Vault Data Sources” section)

  • Manifest Name: Name of the manifest

  • Target (Oracle only): Can be set to either Database or Folder

  • Enable Advanced Manifest (SqlServer, Oracle, MySql): Toggle to enable (or disable) Advanced Manifest

  • Active: Toggle to indicate whether the connection string is active or inactive

Once a database is set up you will be able to view it in the main “Database Configuration” screen. From there you will be able to edit and delete using the buttons situated in the “Actions” column.

To edit an existing database press the pencil button located next to it in the Database Configuration menu. This will bring up the edit screen. From there you can edit the setup configurations, as well as the selected databases and recent jobs.

You are able to see the Schema, Table Name, In Scope, Restrict All Rows Toggle, Limit Rows, Subsample, Boolean Expressions, Operations and Actions. Within the same menu you can also view the recent jobs. There you can see the creation date, snapshot date, execution time and status. You can also view each job shown as well as start a new job.

Viewing a job allows you to see all the necessary information associated such as job type, execution time and the operation type. It also shows the job properties and job status that appears when clicking the “More Detail” button. Hitting the “View All” will redirect you to the “Job Monitor” page (redirect to “Job Monitor” guide).

When starting a new job by hitting on “Start Job”. There you can view all relevant settings needed to start a new job, such as how you want to protect your data, data consistency, as well as the tables in scope.
